So here I am back in America again. The tax return somehow got done but the tap in the kitchen is still dripping away in my absence and I expect the neighbours are still giving my garden despairing looks because I haven't done anything about either. But I did play at the Cranworth Jubilee Hall and that was full of all kinds of people and their kids too. The kids ran about in the freezing cold and pitch black out in the car park until it was way past their bedtimes and I finished the set in front of an audience clutching sleeping infants. There wasn't any homemade lemon drizzle cake this time but it didn't spoil the enjoyment, if anything it was better this time than the one I did a couple of years ago.

And here are some pretty pictures of the event, or at least my part of it, that you can look at while I try to explain what the Hitsville House Band 12 O'Clock Stereo cover is doing at the top of the page:
It's all about marketing really, marketing and coincidence. I must say these photos do look nice - it's amazing what an overdose of red lighting can do. It's almost hard to believe that something so sumptuous looking could have happened in a village hall.
Anyway, anyone who's tried to order anything from my Southern Domestic mail order site has probably noticed that the service has been a trifle flakey of late.
