The Turkey Zone
You can get everything of mine that's currently on release from the Turkey Zone. And you'll get it cheaper than at Amazon. The Turkey Zone is an independant mail order site run by Tony Judge, the founding father of this site and the man who got me into all this computer lark in the first place. Back in 1996 he asked me if he could start a website dedicated to me - 'Fine,' I said. 'Great idea - er, what exactly is it?'
I used to do the mail order myself through my own Southern Domestic site, but I found that the more touring I did the more orders I got, and I couldn't keep pace with it because I was always away from home. So I got Tony to do it instead.
The Turkey Zone accepts all major credit cards, cheques, postal orders, giros, milk tokens - that sort of thing - but sadly not Luncheon Vouchers. And I don't think Tony gives air miles or puts points on your Nectar Card either (if you're outside the UK you might not know what that is, but let me assure you, you're not missing anything) but he is 100% trustworthy and operates a near as dammit next day delivery service to anywhere in the known universe (apart from Saturn where the packaging won't stand up to the force of gravity). He also gives away badges and stuff.
   Here's a selection of what's currently available.
You can probably get most of the following information from the Turkey Zone as you mindlessly lob things into your cart, but here it is anyway:

Whole Wide World 4 England b/w 4 Wayne Rooney's Foot

Wreckless Eric Presents The Len Bright Combo Southern Domestic SND 001 (2003)
The legendary Len Bright Combo - my lost years in the Medway. We could as well have been known as Wreckless Eric & Two Milkshakes but thank heavens we weren't. Finally there's one CD containing the two very rare albums we made back in 1986. About bloody time too.

You're Gonna Screw My Head Off / Selina Through The Windshield / Young Upwardly Mobile...& Stupid / Someone Must've Nailed Us Together / Sophie / The Dream Of Edmund Hirondelle Barnes / The Golden Hour Of Harry Secombe / Lureland / Shirt Without A Heart / Comedy Time / Pleasant Valley Wednesday / Swimming Against The Tide Of Reason / Cut Off My Head / The House Burned Down / The Awakening Of Edmund Hirondelle Barnes / Phasers On Stun / All Charm / Club 18-30 / Ticking In My Corner

Almost A Jubilee - 25 Years At The BBC (with gaps) Hux Records (2003)
A selection of BBC sessions starting with a Peel session from 1977 (with Ian Dury on drums!) and finishing in 2002 with a solo Radio 2 rendition of Joe Meek on the Jonathan Ross Show. Includes The Hitsville House Band on the Mark Radcliffe Show, a fantastic 1986 performance from The Len Bright Combo on Saturday Live, and Wreckless Eric Southern Domestic live on Andy Kershaw's Radio 3 programme in 2001.

Whole Wide World / Semaphore Signals / Personal Hygiene / Reconnez Cherie / Waxworks / Grown Ups / Brain Thieves / You're Gonna Screw My Head Off / The House Burned Down / Comedy Time / Selina Through The Windshield / Palace Of Tears / The Girl With The Wandering Eye / Can't See The Woods (For The Trees) / Bone Marrow / Take The Cash / Sign Of The Chicken / Joe Meek

Wreckless Eric - Greatest Stiffs Metro / Stiff Records MTRCD044 (2001)

A twenty track compilation from the Stiff years including most of the salient points. It's got a shit front cover but the tracks are all the definitive mixes and sound fantastic - even though I say it myself. And it's got sleeve notes by me and Annie Nightingale. Excellent value for money!

Whole Wide World / Reconnez Cherie / Semaphore Signals / Take The Cash / A Pop Song / Personal Hygiene / Tonight (Is My Night) / Hit And Miss Judy / Walking On The Surface Of The Moon / Veronica / Let's Go To The Pictures / Waxworks / Broken Doll / Excuse Me / It'll Soon Be The Weekend / Strange Towns / I Wish It Would Rain / Out Of The Blue / Grown Ups / The Final Taxi

Sweet Jane / Continuity Girl 45 rpm 7" single
The Lou Reed song recorded as a precursor to the Bungalow Hi album. Only the fantastic B side made it onto the album - Lou Reed ended up in the dumper - hence the fabulously low price for this superb collectors item.

Brand New Boots & Panties east central one NEWBOOTS2CD (2001)

The celebrated remake of Ian's original 1977 album. I'm very proud of my track - I think it pisses all over a lot of the other stuff on here, but it's in highly salubrious company and I'm a bit kind of awed that I'm on a record with a Beatle or ex-Beatle or whatever Paul McCartney is now. And I'm one of the supporters of his track too - his version of Partial To Your Adbracadabra takes it to a New Orleans bordello and redefines Ian's take on rock'n'roll. I hope that makes sense. The Blockheads are terrific throughout. Other artists include Robbie Williams, Sinead O'Connor and Shane MacGowan. I can't for fuck's sake think why.

Karaoke Silo CD12 (1997) deleted

One of my favourite records I've ever made and the last one recorded in France. The Hitsville House Band (my French band) was falling to pieces so I started making a few demoes. I got into being in my studio every day - it was winter when I started and I cheered the place up with a few coloured lights - it was the warmest place in the house. I just kept recording stuff and when there was not quite enough I decided to put it out as half an album at half the price of an album. I've always wanted to release another version with the vocals taken off - I could call it Singalong.

Sign Of The Chicken / The Laurel Tree / Denim'n'Lace / Bunnyhuggers / Big Wheels Don't Wear Cheap Suits (Incorporating Shirt, Tie & Golfing Jacket) / Gasoline

12 O'Clock Stereo - The Hitsville House Band Humbug CD BAH27 (1996)
The French band formed around 1991/92 with Denis Baudrilliart on drums and Eduardo Leal de la Gala on bass. When Eduardo proved impossible to work with Denis and I joined the blues guitarist Martin Stone's backing band. We stole Martin's bass player, Fabrice Lombardo and toured Europe until we ran out of steam some time around 1997. Sadly Fabrice Lombardo died of cancer in 2003. He was a brilliant bass player and an all round good guy.

Kilburn Lane / Palace Of Tears / The Girl With The Wandering Eye / Murder In My Mind / Camden Girl / The Twilight Home / The Guitar-Shaped Swimming Pool / Miriam / Friends On The Floor / You Can't Be A Man (Without A Beer In Your Hand) / The Marginal / Can't See The Woods (For The Trees)

That's about all that's around at the moment - unless there are some that I don't know about - I'm sure you can still find some of those desperate punk revival cash-in type of compilations like The Greatest Punk Album In The World Ever Volume 2 - I'm on that one! Also Twenty Romantic Punk Love Songs (I've never seen a copy of this one, only an ad for it), Calling London, and a host of other dubious stuff including a couple Stiff/Metro compilations that I'm afraid I can't wholeheartedly endorse because they've got speeded-up versions of my tracks on them.
